In the small Costa Brava village of Cadaques the white church towers over the sleepy port and is reflected in the waters of the harbour. Like many Spanish towns during siesta the shops close and the streets are deserted. When they reopen, everything springs back to life. People come out to shop for their evening meal or go to meet friends in one of the local bars.
This acrylic painting shares that story.
