My thoughts as I created this painting were on changing tides. The things that are left behind or swept away as the tide goes out. The limited palette of colours were related to that scenario - Cerulean Blue, Copper and Raw Sienna with black and white.- and these were used to mix all the shades and tonal values I used.

For this piece I worked on a cradled wood panel 75 cm square using acrylics and other medium with various tools.
